The BD Super B Special turbo matches the airflow and performance of some twin-turbo systems at
less than half the cost. Based on the Borg-Warner S300 turbocharger, the Super B special flows an
amazing 80 lbs. of air per minute and is perfect for late-model Cummins common-rail or modified 24
& 12-valve engines.
Featuring Borg Warner’s extended tip compressor wheel and BD exclusive dual-volute turbine
housing, the Super B Special can deliver enough air for 525 rear wheel horsepower on diesel only,
and is a bolt-in replacement for the stock turbo.
Plus, the adjustable waste gate with a high temperature resistant Nomex diaphragm and heavier
spring keeps the bypass valve closed, raising boost levels for increased performance and helping to
prevent waste gate “creep”.
The Super B Special kit includes all necessary adapters, new down pipe, spring-loaded T-bar clamps
and turbo feed/drain fittings.
